News
The third REPRODIVAC annual meeting this year was held on 27 and 28 of August 2025 at École normale supérieure de Lyon, France.
From 16 to 18 of June 2025, members of the UMU team, the researchers Jesus Salinas and Maria Rosa Caro, participated in the 27th NATIONAL SHEEP FORUM in Valladolid (Spain).
A new thematic card is now available to learn more about 'Q fever', a disease caused by the bacterium Coxiella burnetii, the available commercial vaccine and the solutions of the REPRODIVAC project.
Reprodivac scientist Laura del Río from UMU has participated as a lecturer in a series of seminars held in various cities across Spain. These sessions were focused on veterinary practitioners working with small ruminants, providing an excellent opportunity to address key challenges in disease prevention—particularly the complex issue of enzootic abortion caused by Chlamydia abortus.
The REPRODIVAC project was proudly presented at the XXX Congress of the Spanish Society for Microbiology (SEM), held recently in Jaén, Spain. This national scientific event brought together leading researchers in Microbiology from across Spain to share advances, foster collaboration, and highlight emerging talent in the field.
