Update on Chlamydiosis

David Longbottom, Head of Chlamydia Research at Moredun Research Institute and partner of REPRODIVAC, has recently coordinated as Expert Lead an update on research gaps and priorities for Chlamydia abortus for the EU DISCONTOOLS (DISease CONtrol TOOLS) project (https://www.discontools.eu/database/64-chlamydiosis-c-abortus.html), along with Maria Rosa Caro Vergara, another REPRODIVAC partner and Expert Panel member.

DISCONTOOLS aims to improve infectious disease control (diagnostics, vaccines and pharmaceuticals) in animals by identifying gaps and priorities for directing future research and development. It provides up-to-date information on 53 infectious diseases of animals identified as research priorities.”
