Wageningen Bioveterinary Research (WBVR) in Lelystad (The Netherlands) conducts top level veterinary and biomedical research for animal and public health. WBVR specializes in animal disease research, diagnostics and contract research. The institute conducts research on health and (infectious) diseases e.g. in preclinical and clinical studies, animal models, epidemiology and risk management. For this, the institute collaborates with public and private partners to safeguard animal and public health through prevention, eradication and control of animal diseases.
